Introducing: Five new ingredients to brighten up your chocolate creations!

Magnificent chocolate creations begin with the highest quality, luscious gourmet chocolate ingredients!

While we love to see how some of you get creative with our chocolate bars – cut them up and use as chocolate chips for cookies, melt them down for a flavourful chocolate glaze or even hot chocolate, we also think there is a better solution 😅

Our finished bars are tempered, which is a quite time-intensive process to ensure that the chocolate has a professional sheen, snap and taste. It also prevents melting away at room temperature and enhances the ‘three layer’ flavour experience in one’s mouth. Since the tempered chocolate crystals are solid (type 5 in the chocolate world), our bars will be very difficult to meltdown. Good news, now you no longer have to use our bars for baking – we made something just for this purpose!

Not only can they be enjoyed chunk by chunk as yummy & wholesome, energy-boosting snack in between meals but they are also awesome for baking, your morning granola, smoothie topping & home-made nut mix.

Baking Chocolate Nutty, earthy, crisp, floral

Our baking chocolate is the natural product of ground nibs, which are drawn from the fruit of the Theobroma Cacao tree. Cacao paste is made by crushing raw cacao beans into a liquid, retaining its natural properties. This liquid quickly solidifies at room temperature and the result is cacao paste. No additives, sweeteners or stripped nutrients!

Pssst… With naturally about 55% cacao butter, our baking chocolate is an extremely smooth product great for use in any chocolate recipe.

If you are looking for true dark chocolate, this is it! Cut in smaller pieces for deep dark chocolate chunks in your baking or as shaving on your favourite ice cream. Snacking is okay, too!

Cocoa Powder Smooth, deep, bright, full body

Our cocoa powder is deliciously dark and smooth. How? Named after Coenraad J. Van Houten who came up with a process to alkalize cacao in 1828, it is also known as ‘dutched’. Cacao nibs are cold-pressed and defatted, followed by treatment with food-grade alkali (potassium or sodium carbonate) to change its pH level from 5.2–5.8 (natural cacao powder) to an alkaline pH level of 8. It ends up being much more balanced in hot drinks, smooth on your tongue and requires less sweetener.

So, may we suggest some recipes? Enjoy in your real Mayan style hot chocolate (without all the sugar to cover bitterness), vegan chocolate panna cotta (so easy to make!), chocolate avocado mousse and double chocolate banana bread. See you in the kitchen!

Cacao Nibs Nutty, bergamot, hints of banana and citrus, fruity aftertaste

You probably know our cacao nibs by now, but here is a refresher (and NEW LOOK 🤩). Cacao nibs can be your favourite morning snack because they are easy to eat, provide you with steady energy, increase your mental performance, satisfy your cravings, stabilize your blood sugar, good for your cardiovascular health AND elevate your mood. We call this a chocolate win-win-win-win-win!

Ideally, consume one-two tablespoon in the morning for optimal benefits. If you are just getting used to the taste, you can blend them up in your smoothies, soak in your overnight oats (less crunchiness), eat with chia seeds & honey, yogurt and fruit, or drizzle on top of your cereal to give your meal the extra nutrient-boost.

Best consumed in the morning or before 3 pm for optimal sleep.
